Most of my shoe pics come from around Surry Hills and Paddo where I walk a lot; this place in particular began with 2 pairs, I snapped it with 3 and wonder whether trade is picking up?...

What do different types of shoes mean?

I've come up with a theory that different types of shoes mean that different types mean the different types of drugs for sale. For example soft shoes like cons and skater shoes denote pot while boots and hard-soled shoes indicate harder drugs are available... It's up for discussion!

Guns over Power Lines

As my colleague and I were standing underneath a pair of 'guns over powerlines' we were speculating what it might mean - obviously someone claiming the area - but with guns? Then the guy from Deus in Surry Hills crossed the road and gave us the inside story that the guns form the packaging for a set of skateboard trucks... keep an eye out for glock 9s!
